Treasurer Role
Main responsibilities are:
- Overseeing outgoing and incoming transfers from the club’s bank account
- Joint signatory on bank account
- Paying in cheques/cash/bank transfer
- Occasional liaison with committee esp. Membership Secretary
- Preparing a simple annual budget
- Attend committee meetings (only 4 per year)
Time commitment is approximately 30 minutes per week at the beginning of the season and much less for the remainder of the season. The season runs from September – Easter.
